Looking for Lovely | Women’s Group

This group is for women of all ages. In “Looking for Lovely” Annie F. Downs shares personal stories, biblical truth, and examples of how others have courageously walked the path God paved for their lives by remembering all God had done, loving what was right in front of them, and seeing God in the everyday–whether that be nature, friends or in the face they see in the mirror. Intensly personal, yet incredibly powerful, Looking for Lovely will spark transformative conversations and life changing patterns. No matter who we are and what path God has us on, we all need to look for lovely, fight to finish and find beautiful in our every day!

America at the Crossroads |

Men’s Group

“The time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine…they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (II Timothy 4: 3, 4).”

We live in a tumultuous time. Upheavals in culture, morality, spirituality and much more are making changes in our world at a breathtaking rate. Looking honestly at trends that are taking place in our country today, we are Christian men will be challenged to speak and live out God’s truth into an environment that needs Christian influence to shape our culture rather than allowing our cultural norms to shape us. Book: “America at the Crossroads, Explosive Trends Shaping America’s Future and What You Can Do About It.”

What is Love | Women’s Group

The letters of 1, 2, & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. This amazing Kelly Minter series reveals not only the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus. Join us for this 8 week study where we’ll not only learn from God’s word together, but enjoy fellowship as we grow both in our relationship with Jesus and our relationships with one another. Meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 beginning Jan 23. Cost for the study book is $13.00. Over 8 sessions, which will include video teaching, small group time and daily written work, As we study together, we’ll learn that each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come! We hope you’ll gather with us as we meet on Wednesday evenings.

Letters to the Church

There is a growing and unacceptable discrepancy between God’s vision for the church and ours. Consumerism has to leave. The Church requires more. God’s Church started as a radical, spiritually intimate gathering of believers that ultimately changed history. Yet millions today are content to be mere observers at church. Many more have left, brokenhearted and cynical. But God is waking up His people people who will risk anything and sacrifice everything to be the dynamic, world-changing Church of Scripture. Join us Wednesday’s from 6:30-8pm as we study Pastor Francis Chan’s latest book Letters to the Church. Throughout this study we will encourage and challenge one another as we hear about these values and attributes of the body of Christ:
 Respecting the sacred
 Supernatural love and unity
 Spiritual gifts for service
 Discipleship and community

Experiencing God | Women’s Group

Written by Henry Blackaby, Richard Blackaby, and Claude King, the Experiencing God Bible Study is based on seven Scriptural realities that teach us how to develop a true relationship with the
Creator. By understanding how God is working through us even as we try to fathom His ways, we can begin to clearly know and do His will and discover our lives greatly and gracefully changed.
