Care Ministry

The Vision

The vision of Southridge Care Ministries is to engage in Christian community and faith-focused life support to all we encounter.
We aim to create tangible connections in our church body and community through intentional relationship building,
service to each other, praying for one another and celebrating life together to fulfill the greatest commandment found in
Mark 12:30-31 which states, “love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind

and with all your strength. The second is this: love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”

Our core values, which we use to model our approach to ministry are to
  • Show Jesus’ love always
  • Actively build relationships
  • Demonstrate excellence in all we do
  • Have fun!

Our first mission is the Care Package mission for Crosstown Parkway and Portage Pines Apartments. We were informed that these locations are in need of hygiene products and food items. We have committed to providing them with 228 packages and need donations to fill these needs. You can sign up for critical items by clicking the Crosstown Parkway Needs button.

Our second mission is providing food for the city of Kalamazoo and surrounding areas. We are pre-filling bags with certain items that can be picked up Monday and Friday from 8:30a – 12:00p at our location. You can sign up for critical items by clicking the Kalamazoo Food Needs button.
